Mark co-founded PayAsia in 2006 where he was Non-Executive Chairman until being appointed to the role of Executive Chairman and Managing Director in July 2015. In July 2017, he was appointed to the Board of PayGroup and to the role of Managing Director of the Group. Mark has over 22 years’ experience in leadership roles in Asia Pacific including being a Director and General Manager of ADP in Asia Australia (1999-2003).
His previous senior roles included Chief Executive Officer VicPlas Ltd a Singapore Stock Exchange listed company in (2008-2014) and Executive Director of Omni Industries in Singapore (2006-2008). Mark is affiliated with the major shareholder and is based in Singapore.
Lawrence is a co-founder and has been the Director of Business Development since inception. Lawrence was appointed to the role of Chief Sales Officer, BPO for the Group in July 2017.
Lawrence has over 16 years’ industry experience in the HCM shared services and payroll BPO domains, including 5 years with Convergys Corporation and has been largely responsible for the growth the HCM BPO client for the Group and leads the South East Asian Business Development Team and is based in Singapore.
Elise Nguyen is the Chief Financial Officer at PayGroup Limited. She started her career in Big 4 and has held a number of senior finance roles in both private and commercial sectors across Australia and APAC. At PayGroup, Elise is responsible for the Finance function for the Group with operations in Australia and APAC and servicing clients worldwide. She and is committed to maximizing long-term shareholder value, ensuring sustainable profitable growth, and maintaining the highest level of Corporate Governance.
She is a member of CPA (Australia) and holds a Bachelor of Law and Commerce from the University of Queensland.
Chris has been advising PayAsia since December 2015, and was appointed to the role of CTO of the Group in July 2017. Chris has over 20 years’ industry experience in the HCM and Payroll BPO industry, including 13 years as CIO with ADP Asia Pacific.
Based in Melbourne, Chris holds both a Bachelor and Master of IT (Swinburne) and is responsible for Group HR/Payroll deployment, technology and client implementation.
Venky joined PayAsia in April 2022. He has 30 years of experience in the HR BPO and Finance spaces in both Implementation and Operation streams. Venky has previously worked for Ceridian/Excelity, Ascent HR, Ramco Systems-BPO, Convergys Employee Care, Hewitt Associates, and couple of other companies. Over the span of his career so far, he has worked in various Implementation and Operational Roles. Venky lives in Bangalore, India.
Barry joined PayAsia in August, 2020 as he is managing all in-country partners and technology partners. Barry’s responsibilities include all the commercial and contractual aspects of our relationships, as well as the design of the service offering and the service delivery.
Prior to PayAsia, Barry spent nearly 14 years with ADP, where he had management responsibility of providing value add services such as lodgement to MNC clients through partners for the APAC region. Before ADP, Barry had held consulting role with PwC and business roles with JPMorgan Chase and Standard Chartered Bank.
Barry will be based strategically in Hong Kong. He is CPA qualified in Australia, has an MBA from Monash University (Australia) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Christine has more than 30 years' experience in setting up and managing HR and Payroll BPO operations. Christine previously worked at NorthgateArinso, MoorepayHR, Ascender and Boardroom in Senior Operational Roles. Originally from the UK where her payroll career started as a Payroll Administrator, she has worked in Global Payroll for the last 10 years and has lived in India, Philippines and Singapore during this time.
